ÔFAURIA is an artisan French pastry shop located in Laval, Quebec. This family-run business, led by Aliya Mhamdi, is driven by the expertise of Christian Faure, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France in pastry since 1997.
In our Laval workshop, we prepare cakes, entremets, trompe-l’œil creations, all-butter viennoiseries, baguettes, sourdough breads and savoury creations. Orders can be reserved online and picked up free of charge at our Central Parc Laval boutique.
The origin of the name ÔFAURIA
ÔFAURIA comes from the Greek word euphoria, which evokes well-being and recovery. The name reflects a simple vision: creating moments of pleasure through pastry that is precise, generous and deeply human.
Christian Faure, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1997
Born in Villefranche-sur-Saône, Christian Faure trained in France under Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. He began his career at Dalloyau Paris, continued in luxury hotels on the French Riviera, and earned the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in pastry in 1997. After teaching at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa and founding Maison Christian Faure in Montreal in 2013, he created ÔFAURIA as a return to essentials: artisan production made with care and meant to be shared.
